Our
Roots
Springwood Structures began as a small venture originally called Springville Woodworks. Mervin Beiler began building picnic tables as a part-time endeavor in 1990, and in ‘93, the Beiler family opened a retail location selling indoor and outdoor furniture and crafts. The company grew and soon added sheds and swing sets built by manufacturing partners to the product lineup.
Manufacturing with the Family
Less than ten years later, Mervin began manufacturing his own sheds, with his son, Allen, running the shop. After Mervin’s passing in 2013, Allen transitioned to running the retail business, and his brothers took over the manufacturing for the next several years. In 2019, his brothers moved on to other careers, and Allen’s family took over the shed-building side of the business as well.
Springwood Structures Today
Since then, the store location was renamed Springwood Structures to differentiate it from the manufacturing portion of the business. The company is growing, adding land, products, and experiences that the whole family can enjoy. There are decades of rich tradition and heritage encompassed in Springwood Structures. At heart, it is a family business focused on serving our local community. Our hope is that our store, products, and services will enrich your life, enabling you to live more restfully and intentionally.
